Boho Chic - Take 2!

Today's look is all about the kimono. The kimono is a Japanese-inspired garment that's in high demand in the fashion circuit. Mostly made in bold and floral prints, the open front shirt is a very versatile piece: dress it up over a classy black dress; take it to the beach as a cool cover up, or pair it with some denim shorts for a casual look!

I styled this lightweight, floral kimono with a basic tank and a pair of high waist, cut-off shorts. I accessorized with a trendy fedora and gold neck and arm candy for a bohemian look. The perfect outfit for a boho chic look!

Boho Chic - Take 1

Good morning everyone!

Hope you are all having a fantastic week! It is hump day...so we're half way through!

This week I had the opportunity and privilege to shoot with the fabulous Heather Jacey from Jacey Photography. Heather wanted to try some new lighting techniques and asked if I could put a natural, earthy look together. It was the perfect time to go Boho Chic.

We shot at a local maple syrup farm, and I thought this floral, cut-out dress was the perfect outfit choice! I paired the dress with a dark wash denim jacket for breezy summer nights. I accessorized with this fabulous headband from American Eagle, a turquoise pendent necklace, basic flip flops and a chic turquoise clutch. Casual, fresh and simple in Boho Chic!

Retro Daisy

Happy Hump Day!

Today we're going Retro with this amazing daisy crop top from Necessary Clothing!

This white crop top is covered with delicate daisy petals sewn onto the front. The scallop bottom and boxy fit gives the top a nice edge and it can be paired with and style of bottoms. I opted for a pair of high waist black shorts; simple yet classic. I accessorized the outfit with this retro clutch from The Limited and a pair of red flip flops.
