The Leopard Blouse: 2 Ways!

Happy Tuesday!

Hope you all are having a great start to the week.

Leopard is a fantastic print for the fall. It adds life to any outfit and compliments those rich fall hues very well. This leopard print blouse from The Limited is a must-have this season. The fabric is very light and airy and can be worn by itself or layered. I chose to style it two different ways: Classic Wear-to-Work and Casual Fall Layers!

Classic Wear-to-Work:

Blouses are a great item to wear to work. I paired my amazing leopard blouse with this sleek black pencil skirt from Ann Taylor. I added a pop of color with these yellow pumps and kept it simple with accessories. I am in love with this monogram necklace from The Beehive Gift Shop. A simple, sophisticated, gold necklace that adds a nice subtle touch to the ensemble!

Casual Fall Layers:

Layers are perfect for the crisp fall air. I layered my leopard blouse with this vibrant, fiery red sweater from J. Crew and dark denim skinnies. I accessorized with a cognac belt and flats and a statement necklace. Throw on a pair of your favorite shades and you're ready to go!

Happy Peplum

Good Morning!

It is rainy and dreary in NEPA today. Hopefully this post brightens your day!

Again, the fabulous Heather Jacey from Jacey Photography captured these brilliant photos at the local recreational area, Kirby Park.

It was a beautiful, clear day, so I opted for "happy" outfit. I paired this perfect white peplum tank with my favorite distressed skinnies by Vigoss. I brightened the look up with yellow accessories. In my opinion, yellow is probably the happiest color in the rainbow color scheme. A nice statement necklace, clutch and strappy sandals complimented the crisp white peplum very well. An all around happy outfit!

Urban Legend

Well hello everyone!

Sorry for my short absence! I went on a nice little vacation, got some R&R and now I'm back in full force...

Two weeks ago, I went back out with the talented Heather Jacey from Jacey Photography. We shot at a local historic landmark in NEPA called Concrete City. We trekked through a wooded trail to get to the abandoned area that housed 20 large, two-story concrete buildings.. Concrete City was built in the early 1900's by the D L and W Railroad's Coal Company to provide living accommodations for employees working in the Truesdale Mine. In 1921, after 11 years of opening, D L and W was bought by another company and Concrete City was abandoned.

Now, the 20 hollow concrete structures are canvases for local graffiti artists and an occasional playground for local paintball enthusiasts.

I decided to wear an urban, chic look to Concrete City. I paired this basic black crop top with this flowy chiffon maxi skirt from The Limited. I accessorized with black strappy heels and gold jewelry. Probably one of my favorite trendy city looks that will forever be an urban legend!
